“I found a distinctive charm in this Grade II listed building, especially its award-winning restaurant which seems to emphasize local cuisine. The hotel's commitment to hosting only one wedding per day strikes me as considerate, and the option to bring pets makes it even more appealing; I think it's a particularly attractive venue for those seeking a blend of historic elegance and modern comfort.”

underwhelming stay

weak shower cold room
The shower was little more than a dribble. It barely got me wet. the car park looked more like an industrial estate than a hotel entrance. our room wasnt warm enough, even after i told them about the heating problem. the towel rail was also falling apart when i tried to use it.
